VOVOHO policy
Shipping Policy
How VOVOHO ships samples and bulk orders — trade terms, timelines, documentation, freight responsibility, and what to do when goods arrive.
Default trade terms: FOB Dongguan
VOVOHO quotes on FOB (Free On Board) Dongguan as standard. Under FOB, we prepare the goods, clear export customs, and load them to the port of departure. From that point, freight, marine insurance, and destination import clearance are the buyer's responsibility.
CIF, EXW, or other Incoterms can be discussed. Whatever is agreed must be confirmed in writing before production begins — trade terms affect cost allocation and insurance responsibility.
Sample shipments
Samples are dispatched by international express courier — DHL, FedEx, or UPS — once sample cost, delivery address, contact number, and courier preference are confirmed.
Typical transit times: 3–7 business days to Europe, 5–10 days to the US, Australia, and most of Latin America. Times vary by destination customs clearance and local delivery. Customs duties and import taxes at the destination are the recipient's responsibility.
Bulk order shipments
Bulk shipment is arranged after production, inspection, balance payment (if applicable), final packing, and all agreed documentation are ready.
Most B2B orders ship by sea freight (LCL for smaller volumes, FCL for full containers) or air freight for urgent or lightweight shipments. We will share shipment tracking details and export documents once goods are dispatched.
What you need to confirm before shipment
- Consignee name, address, and destination port
- Forwarder contact and booking details (if buyer-arranged)
- Shipping marks and carton label requirements
- Any special documentation needed for import (certificate of origin, fumigation, etc.)
Changes to consignee, address, or forwarder after packing may cause delay and additional cost.
Export documentation
Standard export documents include a commercial invoice, packing list, and carton marks. Additional documents — certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, fumigation certificate — should be confirmed before production if your destination country requires them.
VOVOHO can support agreed documentation. We cannot guarantee customs outcomes in your destination country.
Import clearance and duties
Import clearance, duties, VAT, and any destination-country import requirements are the buyer's responsibility. VOVOHO is the exporter; you are the importer of record.
This is especially relevant for adult wellness products, which are subject to import restrictions in some jurisdictions. Verify import rules for your specific destination before placing an order.
Delays
Production or shipping delays can be caused by artwork revisions, material lead times, inspection requirements, weather events, carrier capacity, port congestion, or force majeure. We will inform you of known delays as early as possible and work to minimize impact.
Once goods are handed to your carrier or forwarder, transit delays are subject to their service terms and claims process.
Receiving and inspecting goods
- Photograph or video the packaging before opening it
- Note the condition on the delivery receipt if possible
- Notify the carrier in writing within their stated claims window
- Notify VOVOHO with photos and a description as soon as possible
Late or undocumented claims are significantly harder to process with carriers.
